Have you ever been in so much pain but the thought of another being lost to a world of satanic attack breaks your heart to the point that your spirit hurt worse than the aches in your body. 

When your spirit cries everything else seems minimal, small, non existing, Out of that came this came A Mother’s Cry.

No Matter What We Win

by Anonymous Everyday my mind tells me I'm not good enough, people don't like me/want me, care about me, I did it wrong, I said it wrong, I'm not enough, I don't do enough. Then God sends me angels. Some days the angel is bigger and brighter than life. But mostly the angels are ordinary and almost insignificant. A bagger at Market Basket who smiles at me, a small child who is screaming crying with snot and terror all over their poor little face or a disabled man struggling to walk and in him I find courage and determination. I find God's gifts. In that child I find human need and want. A need and want that is so intrinsic and so fundamental that it takes my breath away. It is there where I find God's blessings. His desire to be near me. His personal invitation for me to go to Him. Rest in Him. I was reminded this morning in a Christian song, "some days I lose the battle but grace says it doesn't matter cause the cross already won the war." (Song Greater by Mercy Me Album Welcome to the New) I may do it wrong, I may say it wrong but Jesus Christ has redeemed me. The thoughts in my head, the injustice of man, the seemingly endless human frailties wane in the light, mercy and love of Christ. Jesus has truly risen. Alleluia!

A Mother's Cry

I love you and want to see you succeed

No matter the cost for me

To see you thrive brings life to mine

To see you smile brings joy to my deepest pain

Many nights I have cried for you 

Praying and hoping the Lord will bring you 

To a better place further than I have ever been

Stronger than the weakest part of me

Larger than my very life

 

I pray that He endows you with vast opportunities, great wealth and countless talent

I pray that you receive every good thing

The very best of who we are

I pray that you are shielded from the worst of me and are able to climb beyond my deepest grave

But wait my child how can this be; all I see is the negative part of me

Lord, help my child grow beyond my darkest fear and push beyond my pain to be all that Your Word have proclaimed them to be

Walking in the Promise of Emotional Healing

They say time heals all wounds. Healing can take place but if we are constantly picking at our scars, reminding ourselves of the pain and putting our hearts in unhealthy situations the healing process may take a little longer.

The body was created to heal itself. So it is with our emotions. If we allow a healthy transition our pain will diminish over time.  Some ways we can position ourselves to receive healing is by changing our mindset, connecting with positive people and constantly forgive ourselves and others. There are many other ways to ensure a healthy healing process.  Find ways to turn away from things trying to flood your emotions with negativity. Embrace everything good. Seek peace and run after it. Take a chance to breathe again. Posture yourself to be healed by God when you are hurt by others. 

You were created to bring change. Will that influence be used to make positive change or negative? Will it cause healing to take place or multiple injuries?

Lord, let change begin in me. Allow my heart to be free from all hate and malice. I release my brother, sister, and even myself from the prison of my heart. My heart will no longer be a cell of bad memories but a place of praise and freedom.I may not understand why I was put in a position to be hurt by people but today I am determined to be healed by You.

You will smile again!

You will live again!

You will love again!

 Don’t’ allow the scars of the past steal your promise of walking in healing for today.

Prince the Legend "Purple Rain"

A legend is gone a true prince finally meets his king. Today we morn the lost of a great artist. Prince Rogers Nelson was a song writer, music producer, actor, multi instrumental, trend setter who lived outside of the box. At the age of 57, Prince closed the chapter of this life today April 21, 2016. 

Purple Rain one of Prince's ground breaking accomplishments. The 1985 movie and album was a great success. The Oscar wining song Purple Rain was also Nominated for a Golden Globe. In the midst of a tragedy Prince was able to step into his promise. Prince known for his stylish looks, and melodic sound didn't allow the chaos of his past hold him back from walking into his future.

Use this moment to reflect on how you can work with what you have to produce a better future for you and your family. Push your way to your promise. Don't allow the troubles of yesterday stop you from achieving success for today. 

Time to walk into your God given destiny.

Tonight Massachusetts will be remembering Prince by lighting up the Zakim Bridge with Purple lights. 

Tonight we cry purple tears in honor of Prince.
